Lee Sung-hee, chairman of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, was elected as the 19th chairman of the International Cooperative Agricultural Organization (ICAO), which represents agricultural cooperatives around the world.
Chairman Lee Sung-hee was unanimously appointed as the chairman of the ICAO Executive Committee in 2020, and will serve in the international community as the head of agricultural cooperatives in 28 countries around the world. Chairman Lee said, "We will respond wisely to major agricultural, rural, and agricultural issues by gathering various opinions and wisdom from agricultural cooperatives."
