Earlier this
year, the Secretariat and Nazik Beishenaly, a consultant with expertise in
cooperatives, began identifying agricoops’ contribution to the SDGs. The Secretariat
surveyed members about their awareness of and contribution to the SDGs, and
based on the survey results Nazik has produced a report, attached
below for free distribution.
The Secretariat
would like to take this opportunity to thank Nazik for her excellent work despite
limited availability of data. We hope to collect examples of best practices from more member coops and better present the importance of agricoops in attaining the SDGs.
