Argentine Scout Members Visit NACF “Agricultural Museum” and Have Cultural Experiences

 NACF (Chairman Sung-hee Lee) announced that they provided Argentine scout members

who visited the Nonghyup Agricultural Museum in Jung-gu, Seoul, with an opportunity to

explore the history of Korean agriculture and experience traditional culture on August 11th,

2023.

 On this day, 71 Argentine scout members staying in Uiwang City, Gyeonggi-do Province,

visited the museum to observe Korean farming culture and traditional agricultural tools. They

then moved to a special event area to experience Korean traditional culture, such as

traditional food, folk games, and traditional clothing.

 The members share injeolmi (Korean traditional rice cake) after experiencing “tteongmechigi

(an activity to pound a rice cake dough),” and enjoyed "tuho (a traditional game of throwing

sticks into a jar)." They also tried on their favorite hanboks (traditional clothing) and took

photos in front of a photo wall featuring Gyeongbokgung Palace.

 As letting the members know the scout spirit of friendship and exchange aligns with the

values of harmony and cooperation that Korean agriculture and cooperatives have upheld,

NACF presented gifts such as dolls, stationery, and fans to commemorate their visit to

Korea.

 Sung-hee Lee, the chairman of NACF, stated, "We will actively support the remaining

schedule to ensure that world youth scout members can create good memories in Korea."​
